Sunshine Foundation Romania

 

Sunshine Foundation Romania is a charitable organization, registered in Northern Ireland (registered charity number XR56342) and enjoys the full support of the Romanian Child Protection Agency.

 

Sunshine Foundation Romania aims to significantly improve the lives and living conditions of children who have been abandoned by their birth families in oppressive and poorly managed orphanages.

 

Through the help of a small number of volunteers in N. Ireland and Romania, SFR will establish homes for small groups of up to a dozen children who currently live in overcrowded buildings, are rarely allowed to go outside and never have any visitors. These children are denied any form of formal education due to their abandoned status, and are looked after by a limited number of unskilled and untrained staff. Through the work of the volunteers and the support of our sponsors, SFR is really making a difference to these children's lives.
